COME SUMMER STAKES
The Canterbury Derby has been renamed effective 2004 to the “Come Summer”
Stakes. Come Summer won the
first Canterbury Derby in 1985 in track record time. During his racing career,
he was owned by Ward & Roberta Williford, Dallas, Texas. He is now owned by Wind-N-Wood Farm.
